London, Jan 12 : David Silva had caught himself in a legal battle
after he refused to pay the 17,000-pound rent on a luxury mansion.
The Manchester City winger, who is set to earn 200,000 pounds a week
in a new contract, dug his heels in after making a string of complaints
about the 3.75 million-pound property.
It included claims that the Jacuzzi was too hot and the indoor pool too cold.
A row erupted between the Cheshire pile's owners Vian and Silva's lawyers.
But a deal was struck and the Spanish player, is now seeking a new pad.
"It has been a nightmare," the Sun quoted Vian's lawyer Mark Slaven as saying.
He said that the pool and spa were Silva's responsibility.
